CanTrack Investigators were informed of a double theft over the weekend from the same location in Berkshire. Even though our customers were unable to confirm the theft for a couple of days, this delay did not hold back our specialist team of Investigators. The first of our stolen items had travelled to Oxfordshire.
Data showed that after the Compressor had been stolen it had then been stationary for the following two days. Our Investigators departed for that location. Once in the vicinity of the stolen Compressor, our investigator used CanTracks unique homing beacon technology to pinpoint the actual position of the Compressor. Due to this location, local police were called. Once the Police arrived, access to the site was enabled. CanTrack Investigators and the local police then followed the homing beacon technology to a large group of objects covered by tarpaulin.
Surprise! Surprise! The tarpaulin was hiding not one but three compressors as well as a cement mixer. All items had been stolen over the last couple of weeks. Another great recovery for our CanTrack team of Investigators.
Our customer was able to recover their Compressor. The Police recovered the other machines to further their investigations.
Both machines from this double theft from the Berkshire site were fortunately covered by CanTrack Protect technology. They were both recovered by our CanTrack Investigators within 4 hours from theft notification.
