Late in the day, we received a call regarding a stolen Coil Pipe Trailer from a dock in Essex. We could see that the trailer was moving as it was giving readings suggesting that the trailer was on roads heading north. We dispatched a CanTrack Investigator in Scotland as we saw the trailer passing the England/Scotland border with Police Scotland informed of the situation.
Police Scotland, working with CanTrack data and our Investigator spotted a trailer matching the description of the stolen item. Police Scotland apprehended the suspected thieves shortly after with the CanTrack Investigator on hand to positively identify the trailer.
Without the CanTrack Investigations Unit, our unique tracking technology and our close relationship with the Police, thefts like this would be near impossible to recover.
