When a customer calls regarding a theft, our specialist In-house Investigations unit reacts immediately. In this instance, a Kubota Micro Excavator had been stolen from a worksite in Surrey. The theft had occurred overnight. A wired-in tracker had been found and removed in the early hours of the morning. Utilising the technology within the CanTrack Protect unit our Investigators located the excavator in a transit van less than 10 miles from the theft location.
With Surrey Police in attendance, it was established that the van had been stolen a few weeks earlier. The transit van was removed by police for further investigation. The excavator was recovered and returned to the customer. A great mornings work for the CanTrack Investigators.
