A Mercedes Sprinter commercial vehicle was stolen from West Midlands in broad daylight and reported to CanTrack soon after.
Our investigations Unit, using CanTrack’s Protect technology remotely locate the van near the theft site on a residential road. As with CanTrack protocol, we dispatched an Investigator to secure the van. Our Investigator, working in conjunction with the customer successfully located and secured the van.
On closer inspection, the thieves had forced entry to the van and searched thoroughly for traditional wired tracking units without realising that the van was protected by CanTrack’s covert technology. The thieves had cut out the ignition and cloned the vehicle. Despite this, the delighted owner recovered the vehicle themselves.
