Mercedes Sprinter Van reported stolen from the East Midlands in the early hours of the morning.
As you can see from the pictures, the van’s cab was extensively searched for traditional wired tracking units. In this case, the thieves were successful in removing the factory fitted anti-theft GPS system. They hadn’t counted on the fact that the van was also fitted with a second, covert CanTrack Protect device that went undetected.
About 15 minutes after our unit gave us a location, our CanTrack Investigator visually located the vehicle and secured it in preparation for recovery by the rightful owner.
