A few days after a Mercedes Sprinter was stolen, we received the report that it was stolen from a carpark in the West Midlands. A CanTrack Investigator was sent out to the location where he quickly located the stolen vehicle.
On closer inspection, the van had been extensively searched for traditional tracking devices where most of the plastic panels had been removed as well as the roof lining and seat cladding. The ignition barrel was missing and refitted with rubber matting to hide the fact that the barrel was missing.
The customer was notified regarding the van location and promptly collected the van.
