A hire company rang us early in the morning to notify us of the theft of one of their Mercedes Sprinter vans in the West Midlands. Our technology indicated the location in a residential area so we deployed an in-house Investigator to locate and secure the vehicle.
A few hours after the theft report, our Investigator successfully located and secured the vehicle ready for recovery.
It was noted that the van was on false plates as well as the door-locks and ignition barrel had been tampered with. Closer inspection by the customer confirms that the van was missing the ignition barrel with a false cover added to the barrel disguise the damage.
