A van driver from the West Midlands woke up to find his van gone. The driver reported the theft to the police and to his hire company who promptly informed us of the theft on 01908 330385.
Our Investigations unit tracked the van to a residential location several miles away from the theft site. Our Investigator arrived shortly after and visually identified the van, still on the original number plates. Although the van looked in good condition, closer inspection revealed the extent that the thieves had searched the cabin for traditional tracking devices. Most interior panels had been removed and replaced as well as the locks showing evidence of sophisticated lock-pick marks.
Our Investigations Unit relayed the location to both the local police and the owner who recovered the van themselves.
