A CanTrack-protected Kubota Mini Excavator was stolen overnight from the North East area along with other machinery not tracked by CanTrack.
We remotely tracked the machine to an area 40 miles north of the theft site and deployed a CanTrack Investigator.
Although Northumbria Police had located a few of the stolen items, the excavator was still missing. Our unique technology indicated that the stolen excavator was being actively searched for tracking devices as both the Police and our Investigations Unit closed in.
With Northumbria Police assistance, we located the machine to a nearby farmer’s field where the delighted owner recovered the excavator themselves.
