A customer rang us up to notify us of a ‘hire to steal’ fraud of several machines – one of which was equipped with CanTrack Protect. A quick look revealed that the protected machine was about 150 miles away from the location of hire. As our CanTrack Investigator arrived at the location of the stolen machine, all the stolen machines plus an extra two were discovered. Local police stated that the other machines were reported stolen locally a few days back.
The delighted owners recovered their own machines while the police notified the other machine’s owner of the secured item.
This is a great ROI for the customer where the CanTrack investment has brought back thousands of pounds of machinery that ordinarily would have been written off.
