Our Specialist team of CanTrack Investigators worked together remotely tracking the dumper to its approximate location then honing this data to a small search area. The distance between the location that this dumper was stolen from to the recovery location was a little under 10 miles.
Our Investigator on the scene then used CanTracks unique homing beacon technology to locate the dumper.
Derbyshire Rural Crime Team were contacted, they made their way to the scene to help with the search and to assist in any way they could with the recovery of the dumper.
The Police contacted our Investigator when they found a suspicious white van parked up within the search area. The van was not secured. Upon opening the doors the dumper was found inside. Derbyshire Police recovered both vehicles for forensic investigation.
Due to our close working relationship with the Police, this dumper was found and recovered within hours. Thank you to Derbyshire Police for facilitating with this recovery.
