A CanTrack Protected Toyota Landcruiser was reported stolen from a Warwickshire farm during the day. Warwickshire Rural Crimes Team was informed and our Investigations Unit travelled to the theft site to start the search. Our technology indicated that the stolen car was in a scrap metal yard so assistance from Warwickshire Rural Crime was vital to gain access and visually identify the car.
As expected, we located and secured the car (with the key still in the ignition) in the location our technology indicated but on false plates. In a bid to reduce crime in the area, Warwickshire Rural Crimes Team requested forensic analysis testing and the attending customer agreed.
